I just started this blog, so we will see how it goes. I will try to post some more photography things and events that I go to along with maybe some tips and articles. In either case, I went to Busch Gardens today. There are literally thousands of photo opportunities there from children, rides, candids, and animals. Although sometimes it was difficult to photograph some things because I only brought a 50mm lens to travel light, but I was still able to capture most of the things I wanted to. I was lacking the distance however to capture certain things that were farther away, but it was much lighter than my 24-70mm L lens.

I played around today with some long-exposure photography. Traditionally you cant really do that with point and shoot cameras. What it does is it holds the shutter open for a certain period of time depending on the effect you want to achieve and lets in more light with a more closed lens. It creates some cool effects. I played around with different buildings, street lights, and architecture.
