Brook and Morgan Wedding in Sarasota, FL - May 16, 2009
Brook and Morgan had a really nice wedding. I actually knew them pretty well, so ideally I was a bit unsure of doing a friends wedding. The toughest part about capturing the wedding was my illness (more on that later) and the white suits the men wore which matched Brooks white wedding dress. It was fine everywhere, but made things complicated on the beach reflecting off the white sand. The ceremony went really well. It had a slight breeze off the ocean to cool things off. The sunset was gorgeous with the reflective orange and pink. After the wedding ceremony we went to Marina Jacks where everyone boogied down and danced the night away. In the end all worked out okay, but I have to say it was the toughest wedding for me physically only because I was extremely sick with 102 fever doing a wedding. It took a week of bed-rest to get back to normal. At least I was able to capture the moment for them so now they have lasting memories.
